Dover-Foxcroft police chief supports Bennett for U.S. Congress

To the Editor;

I am writing this letter as an indication of my full support for Adrienne Bennett (for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District). It has taken me some time and consideration, but the differences between her and the other candidates is glaring. Adrienne is the only candidate that visited our department and town. For that matter, Adrienne is the only one to visit most of the law enforcement agencies in the greater Piscataquis region. The only candidate that asked what we needed as an agency. Adrienne provided her contact information for us and has responded herself to our questions, not common these days.

Adrienne has worked tirelessly, attending many events and functions congressional districtwide. Adrienne is a grassroots candidate who is in the community working to meet as many people as she can. As a bureau reporter in Waterville, she always sought the facts for her stories. Adrienne has worked hard all her life. Rather than a handout, she worked for a hand up and earned everything she has. Adrienne is a true success story. I know she will bring this same approach to Washington.

Adrienne has the same principles and values that the people of CD2 have. Adrienne is an avid outdoors adventurer, a supporter of the constitution and all of its amendments and more especially and supporter of law enforcement.

I urge you to cast your vote for Adrienne Bennett. Send her to do the people’s work in Washington.
