PCHS honor parts

GUILFORD — Piscatquis Community High School Principal John Keane has announced the valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2020.

 

Valedictorian Melissa Burdin is the daughter of Kathy and Dale Burdin. Burdin has been on the soccer team, and track team, and in chorus for all four years of high school. She has taken the Camden Conference class and JMG senior year. She has also been on the honor roll throughout all four years at PCHS.

Burdin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and her hobbies are photography, reading, traveling and hiking. She will be attending either the University of Maine at Orono or Thomas College, where she will be studying liberal arts and sciences. Congratulations to our 2020 valedictorian Melissa Burdin.

 

Macee Pearl is the daughter of Angela Alfonso and Jeff Pearl. Pearl has been a member of the Positive Action Team, the Pirate Volunteer Club, the Maine Youth Leadership Program, Prom Committee, the University of Maine’s Upward Bound program, the Olympia Women’s Leadership Institute, the National Honor Society as the president, the field hockey, basketball and softball teams and is an honors student, a PVC Scholar-Athlete, recognized on the PVC All-Academic Team and by the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. 

 

Pearl

 

Pearl enjoys time spent with family and friends, traveling, attending concerts and volunteering in her community. She will be attending the University of Maine at Farmington, majoring in secondary education mathematics with a minor in coaching, and doing a certificate program for addiction counseling. Congratulations to our 2020 salutatorian Maceee Pearl.
