Dexter Regional High School announces Class of 2020 Valedictorian and Salutatorian 

DEXTER — Dexter Regional High School Principal Stephen Bell is honored to announce the Valedictorian for the Class of 2020, Rachael Sickles and Salutatorian Logan Perkins.

 

Sickles is the daughter of David and Janette Sickles of Dexter. She is planning to attend the University of Maine, majoring in animal sciences and hopes to be an advocate for women in agriculture in the future.

While attending high school Sickles has been involved in Key Club, Student Council, student representative to the school board, National Honor Society, varsity football and basketball manager, varsity field hockey, Dirigo Girls State, Positive Action Team, Global Discussions/Discoveries and Thomas Cup. Sickles had the opportunity to study abroad for six weeks at the Dexter Regional High School partner school in Suzhou, China, as well as traveling to Botswana for several weeks as part of the CIEE program. She currently serves as Student Council president, senior class vice president and NHS president.

 

Logan Perkins is the son of Gary and Julie Perkins of Exeter. He plans to attend the University of Maine, majoring in mechanical engineering.

While in high school Perkins has been involved in Key Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, varsity football, basketball, wrestling and baseball. Perkins currently serves as senior class president.

 

The administration, faculty and staff at Dexter Regional High School would like to congratulate these two exceptional students on all of their hard work and accomplishments.
