Pine Tree Hospice to thank area caregivers 

GUILFORD — Have you been a caregiver or are currently caregiving? Whether personally or professionally, you deserve a “thank you.” Caregivers give so much of themselves, and we want to give back to you!

You are invited to attend Pine Tree Hospice’s “It’s All About You” from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 at the Guilford United Methodist Church. All area caregivers will have the opportunity to be pampered through massage therapy, manicures, guided meditation, Reiki and more. Fun and relaxing activities are planned: puzzles, scrapbooking and games, as well as time to chat with others. Learn more about caregiving and caregiver resources with information available at the event, such as dementia caregiver support, Penquis Lynx Transportation or advance care planning workshops. A delicious lunch by Dillon Catering of Milo will be served.

This free event is part of the Pine Tree Hospice Caring for the Caregiver program. Caring for the Caregiver supports and educates those who are involved in the many aspects of caregiving. One in five Maine residents is involved in caregiving. Pine Tree Hospice realizes the incredible worth of caregivers to our community and the Caring for the Caregiver program is designed to reflect the value we place on these community heroes.
