Foxcroft Academy to host IB Information Night Feb. 5

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Have you heard the news? Foxcroft Academy is an IB World School. Our inaugural first semester is in the rearview mirror and we are on to the second semester filled with challenging learning and new experiences. If you’re interested in learning more and possibly joining the program, there will be an informational meeting for students and parents/guardians about the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at 6 p.m. n Wednesday, Feb. 5 at Foxcroft Academy in Room 211 (the Washburn Parkman Room).

This meeting will include a brief overview of the program, the curriculum will be reviewed, and there will be a time for Q&A during the gathering. The IB Diploma Program begins in the junior year and continues through the senior year, so we hope to have current grade 8-10 students join us to learn more about this unique and exciting opportunity.

We are very excited to be offering IB courses and hope you will consider attending in order to make informed decisions when choosing classes for the next academic year. Mr. Jonathan Pratt, assistant head of school for academics, and Mrs. Donna Newhouse, IB program coordinator, will be hosting this meeting. If you have any questions regarding the event, please email Newhouse at donna.newhouse@foxcroftacademy.org. We hope to see you on Feb 5.
