‘Oliver!’ auditions at Center Theatre

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Be part of the first joint production of Foxcroft Academy, SeDoMoCha School and the Center Theatre by auditioning for the spring 2020 production of “Oliver!” Auditions will be held at the Center Theatre from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13.

Directed by Derrick Buschmann, with musical direction by Margery Aumann and vocal direction by Kaitlin Young, this promises to be an unforgettable experience. Rehearsals will start in February, with technical rehearsals starting Monday, May 11 and performances the evenings of May 21, 22, 29 and 30 and afternoon matinees on May 30-31. Other performances on May 23 may be added depending on cast availability. There will also be day-time shows for area schools on either May 26 or May 27 — schedule to be determined.

This will be a large, all ages cast and all parts are being auditioned. All roles are singing roles and auditions are open to everyone. Those auditioning should prepare a one-minute piece to sing that demonstrates their vocal range. They can either sing something a cappella (without music) or bring accompanying music on CD. There will also be song samples available at the auditions. Thank you to our generous sponsors, Foxcroft Veterinary Clinic and Guilford Motor Company.
