Winstead steps down as PCEDC executive director

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The executive committee of the Piscataquis County Economic Development Council (PCEDC) is saddened to announce the resignation of Executive Director Christopher Winstead.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4 Winstead notified the board of the PCEDC that he has accepted a position with Eastern Maine Community College. Winstead joined PCEDC in 2015, and served as executive director.

“It is with mixed feelings that I notify the board of my resignation, I have accepted a position with Eastern Maine Community College as director of workforce development,” Winstead said. “The success of an executive director is dependent on the support of their board; your support, guidance and engagement helped with the continued success of PCEDC and my success as executive director.”
