Tea Talks Maine trivia winner

DEXTER — Denise Webb won the Maine trivia contest at the monthly Tea Talks on Nov. 14 at Gatherings 4 Main Street. For her knowledge, Webb received a fresh flower arrangement contributed by Spring Street Greenhouse.

Tea Talks is a monthly Dexter Age-Friendly event open to all featuring socialization and education about beneficial programs for area citizens. Speakers at the Thursday, Dec. 12 meeting at 10 a.m. at Gatherings 4 Main Street will be Dr. Earl Lord, director of Dexter’s Harold J. Crosby Community Band, and Rose Hinkley, director of the Central Maine Country Music Association. They will discuss their organizations’ entertainment programs and performance opportunities. Come for free coffee, tea and muffins.
