Genealogy meeting Nov. 3 at Mayo

DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. there will be a Wassabec Genealogy Society meeting at Mayo Regional Hospital in the conference room. The meetings are open to the public and the organization welcomes beginning genealogists to the most experienced.

The program will be “Coming Late to the Genealogy Party” with guest speaker Kathy Normandin. To the older, more experienced genealogist, the wealth of information now available online must seem unbelievable. To someone who is just jumping into genealogy it’s hard to imagine how research was done years ago. Normandin will talk about how to organize records and files in the digital age. Come learn of her system for paperless genealogy.
