D-F Kiwanis Charities serve Thayer Parkway fall dinner

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis Charities held the annual fall dinner for Thayer Parkway residents on October 17. Over 50 residents and members were served a smorgasbord of chicken, tuna, taco, mac ‘n cheese, ham and casseroles as well as salads, maple baked beans and hot dogs, fall desserts, cider and coffee.

Thayer Parkway was festively decorated with fall decorations courtesy of Marilyn Hartford while also adding to the festivities was “Happy Birthday” sung to October residents accompanied by Pat Hinkley on the piano. Pre-meal serenading was provided by Beth Ruksznis on the fiddle.

This is an annual event residents of Thayer Parkway and members of the Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis both look forward to, and everyone had a great afternoon.
