100TH BIRTHDAY -- Staff at the Hibbard Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dover-Foxcroft want to wish one of their assisted living residents a very happy 100th birthday. Earl Chase was born in Augusta, on October 18, 1919. He worked at Hudson Pulp & Paper for many years, is a World War ll veteran, was a machine gun instructor during his service in the Army Air Corps and was married to Christine for over 60 years. Though they had no children, they shared several nieces and nephews, who all know him as their beloved "Uncle Earl.”
