County Democrats fall dinner will be October 19

SANGERVILLE — Plans are well underway for the Piscataquis County Democrats annual fall fundraising dinner. The True Blue North Fundraiser takes place at the East Sangerville Grange on Saturday, October 19 with a social hour beginning at 5 p.m.

Beer, wine and snacks are available by donation and guests can enjoy conversation while bidding on select silent auction items. A traditional New England dinner including ham, turkey, baked beans, cole slaw, bread and a variety of desserts will be served at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $20 and are available at http://secure.actblue.com/donate/truebluewave19. Tickets will also be available at the door as space allows. Host donations are welcome and can be made at a variety of levels at this same link.

Dinner will be followed by remarks from Democratic United States Senate candidates Jon Treacy, Betsy Sweet, Bre Kidman and Sara Gideon. U.S. Rep. Jared Golden, R-Maine will also be in attendance. Local voters are encouraged to participate and bring their questions and comments for the Congressman and the Senate candidates.
