CATCH A PIGGY BY THE TOE — Eight entrants in the age 6-8 division each chased down a runaway piglet during the pig scramble on Sunday afternoon as part of the 132nd annual Piscataquis Valley Fair in Dover-Foxcroft. The boys and girls could choose to keep their pigs or sell the animals to interested buyers.

WENT WEE WEE ALL THE WAY TO THEIR NEW HOMES — The annual pig scramble at the Piscataquis Valley Fair in Dover-Foxcroft featured three age divisions for youngsters between 6-12 with entrants picked via drawings. Eight children between ages 6-8 went first, pictured, with each getting to take home a piglet. For ages 9-10 and 11-12 a dozen entrants chased down eight pigs.

HEAVY HAULING — Owen Weymouth finished third in the 1,300-pound improved class during a youth pull on Sunday morning at the Picataquis Valley Fair in Dover-Foxcroft. Weymouth pulled the drag 158 feet, 1 inch.
