Life would be better following the Golden Rule

To the Editor;
Did you ever stop and think how much better life would be for everyone if we all followed the Golden Rule “To treat others as you want to be treated.” Instead we have, more than we would like, people that think “life is all about me, myself and I.” Could that be the reason we have some that don’t honor their marriage vows? To turn things around, pay close attention to these words. Your marriage will become stronger and your children will benefit.

The women came out of the man’s rib; not from his feet “to be walked on.” Not from his head “to be superior” but from the side “to be equal” under the arm “to be protected” and next to the heart “to be loved.”

Think about these words and try very hard to live by them, and don’t forget to take your family to church each Sunday.
