Singer/songwriter Swinger performs July 18 in Dexter

DEXTER — Martin Swinger is one of those rare singer-songwriters who excels at everything: singing, songwriting, and guitar-playing. His performances are conversations, about the quirks, surprises and love that brings us most alive. Songs, ranging from the little plastic parts that hold the world together, to what enlightenment comes from Buddha and Betty Boop falling in love, are whimsically and wisely original and enduring.

Join attendees on Thursday, July 18 at 2 p.m. for this free family friendly concert sponsored by the Abbott Memorial Library. The concert will be held in the basement of the Universalist church, which is adjacent to the library. For more information, please call 924-7292.
