Art and singing classes offered at The Commons

DOVER-FOXCROFT – A six-week Introduction to Drawing class will be offered at The Commons at Central Hall from 4 to 6 p.m. on Fridays from July 12 to Aug. 16. Amelia Trader, local artist, graphic and web designer, is teaching the class. Students will learn the fundamental concepts in a relaxed atmosphere while also being encouraged toward creative experimentation. Class is open to beginners and to those wishing to refresh their skills. Some easy homework will be assigned. A basic art supply kit is included for the $45 fee. The class size is limited to 10 students, so please register soon. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

There will also be a Young at Heart Rounds Singing Class, led by Lauralyn Buie, offered from 11 a.m. to noon on Fridays from July 12 to Aug. 16. The class fee is $35.
