Robshaw jumps at New England championship

SACO — Penquis Valley High School senior Cymeria Robshaw concluded her prep track career by taking part in the long and triple jumps for the second year in a row, along with the other top performers from the six states, at the 74th New England Interscholastic Outdoor Track and Field Championship on June 8 at Thornton Academy.

In the long jump Robshaw had a top distance of 16 feet, 9.75 inches. The 16-09.75 placed her 14th among a field of 32 entrants. Robshaw had the second best long jump among Maine athletes.

Robshaw landed a distance of 35-06.75 in the triple jump, as she finished 17th among 32 girls. Robshaw had the third best distance among the Maine triple jumpers.
