U.S. Rep. Golden to visit Milo on Saturday, May 25

MILO — U.S. Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine will spend Saturday, May 25 visiting Milo and talking with constituents as he tours several venues in the area to begin the Memorial Day weekend. The day begins with coffee and doughnuts at the American Legion Hall, 18 West Main Street, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. This event is open to the public, and the 2nd District Congressman will be meeting and greeting veterans and other residents of the area to begin his visit.

During the day Golden will tour several local businesses and sites of economic development where he will talk with local officials and representatives of the businesses to learn more about these areas of growth and potential for further development.

The Congressman will wind up his day with a visit to Bissell Brothers Three Rivers at 157 Elm Street at approximately 3 p.m. This event is also open to the public and Golden looks forward to talking with constituents at Bissell Brothers before departing the area.

Local residents are encouraged to come out and meet with Golden and his staff at the American Legion in the morning and/or at Bissell Brothers Three Rivers in the afternoon.
