Egg-cellent family fun April 20 at The Commons

DOVER-FOXCROFT – A variety of Easter egg-themed activities for children of all ages will be offered from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 at The Commons at Central Hall.

Volunteers will staff eight crafting stations. In addition to coloring eggs, children (and an accompanying adult) can visit stations to build a cardboard egg wreath, decorate an “egg” with colored tissue paper, and more. One station will offer coloring for younger children. Another will pit competitors against each other to fill a cup with jelly beans – by scooping them with a spoon held in the mouth. Another game challenges players to shake plastic Easter eggs and match each pair containing the same items, guessing based on weight and sound. There will also be opportunities to guess the number of jelly beans in a jar. Small prizes will be awarded. Free refreshments will also be available (donations welcomed).

Admission is $3 per child, and includes a ticket for entry into a drawing for an Easter baskets full of goodies donated by local businesses. The drawing will be held at the end of the event. Entrants do not have to be present to win. For more information, call 343-3018 or email info@centralhallcommons.org.
