Robshaw earns indoor track all-state honors

MILO — Penquis Valley High School senior Cymeria Robshaw has been named to the MTCCA Indoor Track & Field 2019 All-State Team. Robshaw is one of 14 First Team members representing Classes A and B from across the state.

At the Class B championship Robshaw won the 55-meter dash in a time of 7.33 seconds to finish the season undefeated in the event at Maine competitions. Robshaw also won the Class B triple jump title at a distance of 36 feet, 1.75 inches. She came in second in the long jump at 18-03.75.

Two weeks later Robshaw finished second in the long jump at the New England championship with a leap of 18-08.25. She also came in 13th in the 55-meter prelims at 7.47 seconds.

The pair of indoor titles followed two outdoor state championships for Robshaw. As a junior last spring she won both the triple and long jumps at the Class C state meet. She jumped respective distances of 34-10.50 and 17-02 in June. At the 2018 Class C championship, Robshaw also came in third at 100 meters.

Robshaw plans to continue her track career at Division II Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts.
