Registration open for April vacation Theater Camp

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre is accepting registrations for the 2019 April vacation Theater Camp. The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday April 15 through Friday, April 19 and will meet at The Commons Event Center at Central Hall.

Patrick Myers, the Center Theatre’s executive director, is looking forward to presenting another fun week during April vacation for area kids, “The April camp program is a relaxed and fun week where kids work on a short one-act play and have a lot of fun. The schedule is flexible so if a child has to miss a morning or an afternoon it’s not going to be a problem.”

Myers said that David Murray, a long time director and educator, will be running the camp with the help of several interns. The cost for the camp is $200 per child and scholarships are available for those with financial need.
