Gen was born in Long Island, New York in 1919, moved to Maine in her late twenties, married H. Harry Laroy, (Roy to her), had four daughters -- Susan, Stephanie, Beth, and Lois -- and they owned and operated a boarding home for the elderly in Milo for many years. Congratulations to Gen.
