Center Theatre calls for pair of directors

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre and the Slightly Off-Center Players are looking for directors for two shows in 2019. The first, “Seussical Jr.,” is a magical musical romp through the land of Dr. Seuss. This kid’s production will be performed the first two weekends in May.

In the summer, the Center Theatre will be presenting the stage version of beloved book and movie “Tuesdays With Morrie” by Mitch Albom. The play tells Albom’s autobiographical story about his former professor Morrie Schwartz in which a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a last class in the meaning of life. “Tuesdays with Morrie” will be performed in August at the Center Theatre and at Greenville High School in September.

Anyone interested in directing either production should contact Patrick Myers at the Center Theatre at 564-8943 or pmyers@centertheatre.org. The Center Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to make arts, culture, education, and entertainment accessible to our rural communities.
