PCES Holiday Choral Concert Thursday evening

GUILFORD — Piscataquis Community Elementary School students will be demonstrating their skills with voices and movement at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6 at the Piscataquis Community High School gymnasium on Campus Drive. The Holiday Choral Concert is a yearly event that parents and friends do not want to miss.

The selections will include many popular holiday classics from kindergarten through grade 6 classes. Students take great pride in their accomplishments and enjoy the support of parents and friends.

Attendance is free at these concerts, but the public is invited to bring a donation for the school’s giving tree. Every year students bring non-perishable food items which make their way from the giving tree to the local food cupboards. The Visual Performing Arts Boosters will also be having a bake sale that evening.

These concerts are an annual tradition during which the community enjoys the warmth of the season and the talents of the kids. As they raise their voices they truly lift the spirits of those who attend.
