PVC fall all-conference selections

Athletes from each of the area’s five high schools received recognition on the 2018 fall Penobscot Valley Conference All-Conference Teams.

Makenzie Beaudry of Foxcroft Academy was named the Conference Player of the Year in field hockey, also being a First Team selection for the sport.

The field hockey First Team includes Autumn Irwin of Dexter Regional High School, Ava Rayfield and Cassidy Marsh of Foxcroft Academy, and Piscataquis Community High School’s Lilli McCormack.

Second Team players include Bella Adam and Tory Asbury of Dexter, and Sheryl Chase and Cailin Seavey of Foxcroft.

Dexter’s Cheyenne Beem and Martina Hill and Sydney Hutchins of PCHS each received Honorable Mention recognition.

PVC field hockey All-Academic selections are Adam, Asbury, Amanda Haskell, and Autumn Irwin of Dexter; Foxcroft’s Seavey and Mariah Poulin; and McCormack and Alison Quimby of PCHS.

For boys golf, Foxcroft’s Ethan Curtis was chosen for the Class B First Team.

Caleb Snell of Greenville High School is a Class C First Team pick.

Halle Pelletier of Greenville as chosen for the girls all-PVC golf team.

All-Academic honorees include Dexter’s Wuyu Du, Xutong Fan, Matthew Sickles, and Zhenyu Wang, and Emily Vraux of Greenville.

For boys soccer, Jacob Diamond of Foxcroft was chosen for the Class B Second Team.

The boys Class C First Team includes Trever Richards of Dexter and Kobe Gilbert of PCHS

Penquis Valley High School’s Jeremy Martin was chosen for the Class C Second Team.

Nathan Richards of Dexter is a Class C Third Team pick.

John Devine of Dexter earned Honorable Mention recognition.

Three Greenville boys were chosen for the Class D First Team, Ben Baldwin, Noah Bilodeau, and Chris Caiazzo.

Greenville’s Sam Lane and Jack Morehouse were both Honorable Mention players.

The boys soccer All-Academic Team includes Ethan Boutilier, Christopher Fitzgerald, Isaiah Hesseltine, Trever Richards, Christopher Roderka and Lingcan “Max” Yin of Dexter; Sawyer McCarty and Botai Zhou of Foxcroft; Nate Pierce of Greenville; and Penquis’ Jake Baker and Martin.

For girls soccer, Olivia Wesley of Foxcroft was named to the Class B First Team.

Foxcroft’s Amber Richards was chosen for the Second Team.

Chris Wesley of Foxcroft earned PVC Class B Coach of the Year honors.

Cymeria Robshaw of Penquis was named the Class C Player of the Year.

Robshaw was a First Team selection along with teammate Camryn Rolfe and Kaylee Deering and Hannah Dorman of Dexter.

Danielle Cummings, Peyton Grant, and Avery Herrick of Dexter are all Second Team selections.

Kate Bolstridge of Penquis was named to the Third Team.

Penquis’ Lexi Goddard is an honorable mention player.

Greenville’s Bianca Breton, Halle Pelletier, and Jessica Pomerleau were each chosen for the Class D First Team.

Tiegan Murray and Morgan Noyes of Greenville both are Class D honorable mention picks.

The girls soccer All-Academic Team includes Cummings, Deering, Ashley Downing, Kaylee Harris, Addyson Herrick, Shannon O’Roak, Abigail Paige, Janette Patterson, Morgan Smith, and Jinye “Eve” Wu of Dexter; Lauren Cooper, Emelia Grant, Ashley Simko, Hannah Sprecher, and Sara Stentardo of Foxcroft; Greenville’s Jordan Mann; Brooke Kujawaski of PCHS; and Penquis’ Katelyn Bolstridge, Brooke McKenzie, Robshaw, and Rolfe.
