November Pine Tree Hospice Lunch ‘n Learn to cover grief through the holidays

DOVER-FOXCROFT — “Grief through the Holidays” with Rev. Ray Beless, is the topic of Pine Tree Hospice’s Lunch ‘n Learn program from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13. The holiday season is a difficult one for those people who have lost loved ones recently, or in the past. It is often helpful and comforting to know that you aren’t alone at this time of year. Many people seek and find comfort by sharing their feelings of pain, emotions and thoughts in a group setting. Others may never say a word but because the participants in the group have the shared experience of the death of a loved one, they are able to show understanding and empathy to one another.

This event is part of Pine Tree Hospice’s Adult Bereavement Support and is free of charge. The program is open to anyone in the community who has experienced grief and loss whether recently or in the past. A free nutritious lunch is included.

To pre-register for Lunch ‘n Learn, please call Pine Tree Hospice at 564-4346 or email wecare@pinetreehospice.org.
