Milo man killed in Orneville crash

ORNEVILLE — A Milo man was killed in a car crash in Orneville on Wednesday morning.

According to WABI, Connor Webb, 22, died on impact when his car collided with a vehicle transporting mail. Slushy conditions contributed to the crash on Route 6/16.

The television station reported that Gene Worcester, 53, of Bangor was driving in the opposite direction when Webb lost control and struck Worcester’s truck. Worcester is a contracted mail delivery agent, and he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

On its Facebook page, the Milo Police Department said due to the serious crash it was diverting vehicles in Milo on Elm Street at the County Road and at the four corners in LaGrange.

The mid-morning post also urged drivers to take their time traveling in inclement weather.
