Free cider pressing event Oct. 14 at East Sangerville Grange

SANGERVILLE — The Piscataquis County Soil and Water Conservation District (PCSWCD) is partnering with the East Sangerville Grange to bring you an afternoon of family fun at our upcoming cider pressing event. This event will be held at the East Sangerville Grange at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14.

Whether you are a cider-pressing pro or you have never done it before, this event is sure to offer a good time for all. We will begin with a potluck lunch, so be sure to bring a potluck dish to share, apples, your own jars or containers, and be ready for an afternoon of pressing, fun, and great company. If you don’t have apples of your own, don’t let that stop you for joining in. You can always purchase apples from local orchards and there will be plenty at the event to share.

The PCSWCD is requesting that you RSVP for this event by giving us a call at 564-2321 ext. 3, or by sending an email to info@piscataquisswcd.org. Be sure to check out this event on the PCSWCD’s Facebook page.
