Youth track results

OLD TOWN — The Foxcroft Youth Track program took part in a USATF Maine Group D meet on July 12 at Old Town High School.

Jackson Smith was the meet runner-up in the boys age 13-14 javelin with a throw of 65 feet, 6 inches. He also came in fourth in the 13-14 long jump at a distance of 14-06.25 and placed sixth in the 13-14 100 meters in 13.85 seconds. In the 13-14 discus Smith was eighth with a throw measuring exactly 53 feet.

Landon Smith finished sixth in the 11-12 100 with a time of 15.52 seconds.

Jack Gallagher had seventh-place performances in the 8 and under javelin and long jump, at respective distances of 27-09 and 7-01.25. Gallagher also came in 10th in the 8 and under 100 at 19.35 seconds.

In the girls’ competition, Allie Smith finished as the age 11-12 shot put runner-up. Smith’s top throw landed at 23-06.75.

Kaydance Sheridan placed fifth in the age 9-10 shot put at 12-10.50.

Olivia Hill came in fifth in the age 13-14 200 at 31.99 seconds. She also finished sixth in the 11-12 100-hurdles with a time of 21.67 seconds, and she was ninth in the 11-12 height jump at 3-06.
