D-F select candidate wants to make life better for residents of the area

To the Editor;
This spring I have realized once again just how lucky I am to live in Dover-Foxcroft. Although I have retired from my medical practice, I am now devoting most of my “working hours” toward making life better for the people of our area.

As many of you know, for the past six years I have been actively working to open The Commons at Central Hall as a focal point of community activities for all generations. Now that the building is nearly complete, I am excited about the possibility to build a more connected, resilient and healthy community for all.

I am also running for select board in Dover-Foxcroft because I see many possibilities for a thriving community. Have any of you noticed a new sense of hopeful energy in town these days? I have. I have the creative vision and energy to problem solve and to make our town stronger. Please go to the polls on June 12 and support me for the select board. Thank you.
