Piscataquis Regional Food Center receives $5,000 grant from Bangor Savings Bank Foundation

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis Regional Food Center (PRFC) wishes to thank the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation for its generous support of PRFC’s warehouse renovation project. The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation recently awarded the organization a $,5000 grant, which was presented to PRFC’s board of directors in January.

“This grant awarded from the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation to the Piscataquis Regional Food Center signifies our commitment to improving the quality of life in the communities we serve,” said Heather Weymouth Pomerleau, vice president and consumer banking relationship manager at Bangor Savings Bank. “Funds from this grant will be used to help renovate the new food storage and distribution center, allowing the Piscataquis Regional Food Center to better serve hunger relief agencies and small farms in greater Piscataquis County. Bangor Savings Bank is honored to play a role in this renovation.”
