THE NATION’S MOST VALUABLE COACH — Foxcroft Academy boys soccer and wrestling coach Luis Ayala, who teaches health and physical education at the secondary school, poses with U.S. Cellular Local Marketing and Brand Activation Manager Stacey York as Ayala was recognized as the U.S. Cellular Most Valuable Coach on Jan. 4 during the 11th annual Under Armour All-American Game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. In addition to the national honor, a total of $55,000 between a pair of grants from U.S. Cellular will benefit Foxcroft Academy and local youth soccer and wrestling programs.

COACH AYALA ON ESPN2 — During the Under Armour All-American Game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. on Jan. 4 Foxcroft Academy’s Luis Ayala, pictured waving from the endzone with U.S. Cellular Local Marketing and Brand Activation Manager Stacey York, a segment aired on the national broadcast on ESPN2 telling the nation how Ayala is the U.S. Cellular Most Valuable Coach. The piece included footage from when Ayala was presented with a $50,000 contribution from U.S. Cellular for Foxcroft during November. Ayala is pictured at the presentation with his wife Angela and younger son Rico — a sophomore at Foxcroft Academy.
