SOON TO CELEBRATE HER 100TH BIRTHDAY — Virgie Allen was born in Chapman on Nov. 25, 1917 to Frank and Florence Sites. She met and married Frank Allen in August of 1936 and they raised two sons, Robert and William (deceased). Allen and her husband owned and operated the roller rink at Greeley’s landing on Sebec Lake for 38 years. She currently resides at Hibbard’s assisted living facility, Main Street West.
