Auditions for ‘The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe’ at the Center Theatre

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre and the Slightly Off-Center Players announce auditions for the upcoming production of “The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.” The production, dramatized by Joseph Robinette from the story by C.S. Lewis, is being directed by Bobby Keniston. The classic story has opportunities for actors of all ages. The show will open at the Center Theatre on Friday, Dec. 8 and run for two weekends.

Auditions will be held at the Center Theatre from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 and 6-7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2. Anyone interested in auditioning who can’t make those scheduled times should contact the Center Theatre by calling 564-8943.

Patrick Myers, the Center Theatre’s executive director, is excited to see this production hit the stage, “This show is very well known and people are excited to see it here in Piscataquis County,” he said.

Those who are interested in auditioning do not need to prepare anything in advance. Myers also states that anyone interested in getting involved behind the scenes can also drop in during auditions or contact the theatre.
