50 years with Delta Kappa Gamma

A HALF CENTURY IN SOCIETY OF WOMEN EDUCATORS — Judy Gilbert, right and president of the Omicron Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International — a professional honorary society of leading women educators — recently presented Miss Sarah Chipman with the society’s 50-year membership pin. Chipman taught English for many years at Dexter Regional High School and at the former Higgins Classical Institute in Charleston. Chapter members recognized Chipman at a luncheon in her honor.
