Milo Historical Society art show winners

TOP ART HONORS — Tara McLaughlin of Brownville earned first-place honors in the Milo Historical Society’s fourth annual art show with her winning painting “Lupine.” Placing second was Lisa Doherty of Sangerville for her painting of a cedar wax wing eating a berry from a branch. Barbara Hamlin from Milo came in third in the judging standards with her painting of lumberjacks rolling logs in a river. Organizers said the the show on July 22 at the Three Rivers Kiwanis Building in Milo was very successful with many comments about the overall improvement and quality of the art shown.
