Homecoming Committee would like to honor some special residents at the Aug. 5 parade

To the Editor;
The Dover-Foxcroft Homecoming Committee has been very busy planning the “95th Anniversary”-themed parade on Saturday, Aug. 5. They have selected residents celebrating their “90 something birthdays” to participate in the parade in a special way. Would you believe there are over 40 individuals that fall within that category and there could be more out there.

Each one has recently been mailed their invitation to watch the parade from a viewing area in front of Central Hall on East Main Street. If you are a family member, we would be honored if you would encourage your relative to join our gathering to recognize their longevity and contributions to our community.
