Winners announced in graduation assembly program cover design contest

DEXTER — Dexter Regional High School recently conducted an art competition for the design of the 2017 graduation final assembly program cover. Approximately 40 students submitted design concepts that were reviewed by a panel of judges.

The panel was comprised of Dexter Town Manager Shelley Watson; Elizabeth Krista of the school board; Hillary Langlais, Ridge View Community School art teacher; Jayne Lello, high school librarian; and Kelly Tobin, high school life skills teacher. The judges met on May 22 to review the designs and based on an in-depth review of the submissions, Kellie Bache received first place, Morgan Smith was the first runner-up and Amber-Lynn Jusczak earned second runner-up honors.

Bache’s artwork adorned the cover of the 2017 graduation final assembly program cover.
