Foxcroft and SeDoMoCha teams grapple in Dexter

DEXTER — The Foxcroft Youth and SeDoMoCha Middle School wrestling teams competed this past weekend at the Dexter Youth Wrestling Tournament at the Ridge View Community School. Congratulations go to members of both teams for their great performance at the tournament as the wrestlers are showing great improvements from week to week.
Foxcroft Youth wrestlers placing fourth were Keyana Kerr, Jordan Brooks, Carter Nichols, Landon Ladd, Angel Gagnon, Nathan Durgin and Alexis Heretakis.
Those finishing third were William Stone, Karter Rideout, Keegan Crowell, Jack Goldsmith, Mathias Laurent, Eugene Gould, Lucien Pearl, Nikolas Heretakis, Maddelynne Stone, Isaac Pearl, Kael Niland and John Bunn.
Earning runner-up status was Wyett Parker, Grayden Nuite, Shane Bowden, Kell Cooley, TJ Allen, Kain Niland, Jacobi Poire, Hayden Hanson, Aidan Bryant, Sadie Farmer and Cody Bagley.
Foxcroft Youth tournament champions were Alex Hanson, Kaleb Worthing, Colby Gilbert, Robert Weymouth, Parker Weymouth, Kaleb Weymouth and Owen Weymouth.
Austin Gil of SeDoMoCha came in fourth and Karson Tibbetts placed third in his weight class.
The Eagles’ Austin Jackson, Garret Chase and Xander Doty each finished the Saturday tourney in second place.
Claiming tournament championships were Noah Cavanagh, Philip Bagley, Cole McCorrison, Carter Blanchard, AJ Atkinson and Garrett Cooley.
