Broadband internet survey underway

To the Editor;
I have recently spoken to a number of business owners that are unaware of the broadband assessment survey produced by the Piscataquis County Economic Development Council. A couple of months ago, there was a public meeting where a few businesses, town and state officials, education representatives and county residents met to hear how Axiom Technologies would be gathering information on how to create this great opportunity for better broadband internet in our county. The result of that meeting produced a survey for businesses (this month) and residents (next month) to give their opinions on how to further develop broadband capability in our county.
