Class D South champion Greenville soccer team presented with Legislative Sentiment

AUGUSTA – On Feb. 7 the Greenville High School boys soccer team was presented a Legislative Sentiment in the Senate Chamber recognizing the team’s 2016 Class D South championship and appearance in the Class D state championship game held in Portland in early November. The sentiment was presented by Sen. Paul Davis (R-Sangerville) and Rep. Paul Stearns (R-Guilford).
“It was an honor to have the team visit the State House to present them with this recognition of their achievement,” said Sen. Davis. “The boys should be proud of the hard work and dedication it took to achieve this success.”
“What this team achieved this past season was nothing short of remarkable,” said Rep. Stearns. “It was a privilege to welcome these young men to the Maine State House and honor their accomplishments.”
