ORONO — The Foxcroft Academy girls and boys indoor track and field teams each finished eighth in a field of eight schools at a Penobscot Valley Conference/Eastern Maine Indoor Track League meet on Jan. 28 at the University of Maine. The Pony girls recorded three points and the boys picked up six.
Junior Virginia Macomber ran to a fifth-place performance in the two-mile, as she finished in a time of 18 minutes, 55.57 seconds.
The Pony 4×200 relay came in sixth at 2:14.25, and was comprised of sophomore Jacki Pelletier, freshmen Cheyanne Skomars and Mackenzie Harmon and sophomore Sarasofia Stentardo.
Senior Evan Chadbourne picked up all half dozen of his team’s points. Chadbourne came in third in the 55 meters with a time of 6.88 seconds.
