Simple transparency

To the Editor;
I have a proposal that won’t cost money, is easy to implement and will likely have some useful effect — NASCAR jackets.
Every politician gets one. On it, they display the logo of the 10 largest corporate (or Union for that matter) supporters.
Think how different things would be if a politician on C-Span arguing for the latest jet fighter, was wearing his NASCAR jacket with the Lockheed Martin logo on it; or the senator making the case for better relations, or going to war, with Iraq would be wearing their EXXON logo, or the Congresswoman arguing against letting Medicare bargain for drug prices was wearing her Merck & Co or Pfizer logo.
Easy, inexpensive and effective. It could save our politicians the expense of buying expensive suits. And we’d all be a lot better informed.
