Stutzmans Café will be the site of 2017 Coffee House concerts

SANGERVILLE — After 24 years of operation, the Coffee House formerly held at the East Sangerville Grange will move to Stutzmans Café at 891 Douty Hill Road. Though the Coffee House is no longer affiliated with the Grange, it will continue to operate very similar to the traditions of the last 24 years.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., shows follow at 7. Luscious desserts and fine coffee will still be a staple along with some of the Café’s homemade soups and breads. Ticket prices remain the same and can be reserved by calling 564-8596 or bought at the door. Seating, however, is limited compared to the Grange but the parking is well lighted and close.
Coffee House acts for this season are Jan 7 guitar legend Jim Gallant. One of the finest finger style guitarists in Maine, Gallant is very entertaining with a wry sense of humor and a rich baritone vocal.
Feb. 4 is a Doughty Hill Band reunion. Past and present members of the Doughty Hill Band from the last 40 years reunite for an evening of great songs and humor as they cover their four albums of memories.
March 4 Christie Ray and Craig Stutzman perform. Ray has been turning heads with her warm captivating voice wherever she performs. Her catchy melodies and memorable lyrical hooks will have attendees singing along as she weaves her lyrics into stories.
The Stutzmans would like to thank the community for its support throughout this and previous seasons.
