PO ErnestEdgerlyOB OLD LYME, CT – Ernest (Ernie) H. Edgerly, 79, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 after a brief illness. His wife and children were by his side.

He was born in Dover-Foxcroft, ME, and is survived by his wife of 56 years, Narda Edgerly; son, David Edgerly (wife, Dora Edgerly) of Derby, CT; daughter, Debora Edgerly of Rockville, MD; daughter, Susan O’Shea and grandchildren, Nicholas and Shannon O’Shea of Trumbull, CT; brother, William Edgerly of Middlefield, CT; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., at Swan Funeral Home in Old Saybrook, CT, with a prayer service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.O.
