For the 20th year, runners and walkers traveled a five kilometer course to raise funds for the Spruce Run-Womancare Alliance in the Race to End Domestic Abuse. This year’s event took place on Oct. 2, to begin Domestic Violence Awareness Month, in Guildford with participants starting and finishing at Piscataquis Community Elementary School.
The participants met a goal of raising $20,000 for the 20th edition of the run/walk, attendees learned during the post-race celebration.
