The National Council on Aging reports, “Many studies have shown Tai Chi to be one of the most effective exercises for preventing falls.” On Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. at the Millside Fitness Center in Dexter, people from the area are invited to observe and try a free Tai Chi class as part of Falls Prevention Week. Scott Mayer, Tai Chi master, will speak about how Tai Chi can improve balance and prevent falls.
