County Democrats’ election year supper Sept. 10

SANGERVILLE — The Piscataquis County Democratic Committee is hosting a traditional election year supper at the East Sangerville Grange on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 5 p.m. Home-baked beans, ham, cole slaw, rolls and pies make up the menu.

The program includes a time to posthumously honor two “Grand Ole Dames” of the party — Patsy Fortier of Guilford and Carmen de Carlo of Abbot. Additionally, attendees will be joined by Maine’s Attorney General Janet Mills as the featured speaker and local candidates Dr. Richard Evans, House District 120, and Carol Boothroyd, State Senate District 4.
