Burdin pitches for UMF
FARMINGTON — Abby Burdin, a resident of Guilford and graduate of Piscataquis Community High School, was a senior pitcher on the University of Maine-Farmington softball team this past season.
Burdin was one of three members of the Beavers’ pitching staff. She appeared in 10 games, making five starts and tossing three complete games as part of 32.2 total innings pitched.
University of Maine-Farmington softball finished 2016 with an overall record of 7-22, going 4-8 in North Atlantic Conference play.
