Foxcroft Youth Track opens the season

BREWER — The Foxcroft Youth Track began the summer season with a USATF-Maine Group D meet on July 7 at the Brewer Community School. The following team members placed in the top 20:

Girls age 9-10 400: 1. Heidi Clawson 1 minute, 22.65 seconds; 14. Allison Conner 1:51.10.

9-10 1,500: 2. Clawson 6:25.10.

9-10 javelin: 16. Conner 21 feet, 5 inches; 18. Autumn Higgins 19-09.

Boys 11-12 200: 10. Jackson Smith 35.56 seconds.

9-10 800: 9. Zachary Peirce 3:36.93.

9-10 high jump: 4. Hunter Higgins 3-06.

11-12 high jump: T-5. Smith 3-06.

9-10 shot put: 17. Peirce 12-01.75.

11-12 shot put: 12. Smith 20-03.50.
